Hey there!

Listen, Danielle and I want you to have a thriving marriage! I found myself giving some of the same resources to couples that would come in my office or share their struggle over a meal at our house so I wanted to create a webpage to make it a little easier for me to share those things.

Danielle and I have been married for 18 years! We dated 6 years, from age 15 to 21, and let’s be honest, I married up! She’s my best friend and still my girlfriend. But anyone that’s been married for a while, anyone honest anyway, will tell you that like any relationship, it takes work and effort. Anything of value usually does. I’ve put together a collection of resources to help you work on your marriage and give it the attention it needs. Your spouse is God’s GIFT to you! Before you click the links below, let me just say it like this; because they are God’s gift, here’s an acronym that may help.

G. GOD IS AT THE CENTER This says “Our aim is to glorify Jesus and live according to God’s Word.” This solves most our problems right here.

I. INTERDEPENDENCE Interdependence says “I need you. I am not always right. I need your advice, your opinion and you complete me.”

F. FACETIME DAILY Time together face to face, with no screen, is priceless and imperative for any marriage to last and thrive.

T. TOUCH OFTEN Sex is God’s way of bringing you and your spouse to a place of intimacy that can’t be found any other way.

When you see your marriage for what it is, a GIFT from God, you’ll make an effort to prioritize the above items and values. We want your marriage to succeed and God does too! God’s done His part in giving us His Word; let’s do our part to apply it to our lives.

FINANCES

After millions of couples have been surveyed, they’ve said that finances still is the number one point of tension in their marriage. Often this happens for two reasons. 1. They’re on the same page when it comes to their paradigm of money. They simply view it differently. 2. They don’t have a plan. The PDFs, books & sermons below will help you with both of those so you can come to a place of peace in your marriage in the area of finances.

*Pastor Jordan teaches a 3 hour seminar called Financial Freedom twice per year. Be sure to keep an eye out on our events page and register if this is an ongoing point of need in your marriage.

COMMUNICATION

Many people struggle to communicate with their spouse effectively. Often, we’re misunderstood and then mad we’re misunderstood then things can escalate unfortunately. What if we learn how to communicate with love and clarity? Our marriages would be much stronger. Be sure to check out the links below for overall marriage advice. In addition, check out these resources for overall communication. One of our favorite books on marriage is Love and Respect. Be sure to check that out!

SEX

One the things that makes the top of the list in marital counseling is the subject of sex. While it’s a bit taboo and difficult to preach on, we wanted to give you some good advice and resources here regarding this important subject. Below you’ll see a few PDFs, links to books we recommend and even teaching videos from Pastors like Frances Chan. You can’t get more personal when it comes to our identity than our sexuality and that’s why Satan has attacked it with such vengeance the last few decades. Let’s fight back with truth and take back God’s design for holy sexuality!
