CALLED… NOW WHAT?

One of the greatest joys of being a pastor is hearing someone say that they are feeling called into ministry. If you’re on this webpage, then one of our pastors believes you may be called into ministry and we’re here to help you explore that call. Not everyone is called into full-time ministry. But some are and if you’re feeling called, we’re going to help you discern that and if so, ultimately get trained and possibly even the ministry exprience and internship with us at Rock of Grace.

OSOM

The Ohio School of Ministry is a great way for you to get trained in a seminary without having to move.

  • Assemblies of God Curriculum / Credentialing

  • Time Commitment: Weekly time DIY, online, reading, writing, and a trip to Columbus once/mo.

  • Length: Typically 2 Years

  • Earned: Credentialing with Assemblies of God, License, Ordained *Classes transfer to all AG colleges if you were to ever attend… Evangel, Southeastern, Northwestern, AGTS (AG Theological Seminary)

PATHWAYS

PATHWAYS is a mobile app created by the Assemblies of God. It is a great way for you to get trained in a seminary without having to move across the country. Here’s what it entails:

  • Assemblies of God Curriculum / Credentialing

  • Time Commitment: Weekly time DIY, online, reading, writing, assignments… all done through the app and online interface.

  • Length: Typically 2 Years. It is possible for someone to get credentialed with AG within one year if you were to allocate time 4 nights a week to get it done.

  • Earned: Credentialing with Assemblies of God, License, Ordained *Classes transfer to all AG colleges if you were to ever attend… Evangel, Southeastern, Northwestern, AGTS (AG Theological Seminary)

Of course, you could move out of Ohio and go to a Bible College. That traditional route is an option, but it is definitely an expensive one. Using one of the two options above, you can save a lot of money, find the experience required by any AG school within the structure of Rock of Grace church as well as mentoring by ROG pastors.
